I have two daughters and they both have beautiful long hair.  They both use a lot of hair product and hair appliances, so when I was asked if I wanted to review the Hot Iron Holster, I figured this is one for the girls.  I had Madi, my 12 year old, do the review.  She loves this!  Take a look at what she has to say.

 

What is the Hot Iron Holster?

The Hot Iron Holster is a heat resistant, silicone pocket that holds curling irons, flat irons or hair dryers. It is made of 100% silicone and consists of two parts: A roomy pocket for holding styling tools and a flap that grips household surfaces. Combined, they provide a clever and simple solution for managing your hot styling tools and hair accessories.

How does the Hot Iron Holster work?

Specially formulated silicone clings to any smooth, non-porous surface. The surface and your Hot Iron Holster should be CLEAN and DRY for maximum grip. Press the flap onto your sink or countertop and it will firmly grip the surface. Lift up to easily remove.

Does the Hot Iron Holster use suction cups or glue?

The Hot Iron Holster does not use adhesives or suction cups (Yay!)and does not permanently attach to your bathroom fixtures. The stickiness of the flap is a permanent feature and will not wear off. Dirt and lint may reduce performance but can be easily removed by rinsing with water or cleaning with rubbing alcohol.

Will the Hot Iron Holster stick to my countertop?

The Hot Iron Holster will cling to any smooth, non-porous surface including tile, wood, laminate, granite, metal, glass, vinyl, porcelain, plastic, leather and more!

Is the Hot Iron Holster heat resistant?

All Hot Iron Holsters are heat resistant to 500° Fahrenheit.

How do I use the Hot Iron Holster?

Press the flap of your Hot Iron Holster against a CLEAN and DRY surface – and insert your hot styling tool. It is that easy!

Can I use the Hot Iron Holster outside of the bathroom?

Sure! Wherever you do your hair, the Hot Iron Holster can provide a handy place to put your hot styling tools. Home, work, school, or on the go, the Hot Iron Holster has your hot styling tools covered!

Can I use the Hot Iron Holster while my curling iron is on?

YES! Curling irons, flat irons and other hot styling tools can be placed in the Hot Iron Holster while they are heating up, while styling your hair, and while cooling down. **We recommend you follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use of your hot styling tools and never leave your hot styling tools unattended.

Can I place more than one hot styling tool in a Hot Iron
      Holster?

The Hot Iron Holster was designed to be roomy enough to hold any hot styling tool or hair dryer. Although it may fit more that one hot styling tool, only ONE hot styling tool should be placed in your Hot Iron Holster at a time.

How do I clean the Hot Iron Holster?

The Hot Iron Holster easily cleans with water or rubbing alcohol. Be sure the backside of the flap on your Hot Iron Holster is dry before placing on your sink or countertop.

Does the Hot Iron Holster come in different colors?

Yes, the Hot Iron Holster is currently available in our signature Pink, Purple, Black, and White. We plan to add more colors in the future. You can tell us your favorite and submit suggestions for new colors via the Feedback tab on our website or on our Facebook page.
