I am not quite sure I can wait another 14 years for a sequel, but at the same time, Incredibles 2 was totally worth the wait. Disney*Pixar‘s Incredibles 2 is now out in theaters, and fans of the first you will be happy. With the Incredibles cast returning, it lives up to the expectations of the lovers of the original.
Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
Incredibles 2
Here are a few of my favorite scenes from the film.
The action scene with Frozone and the rest of the Incredibles, it reintroduces you to the family and brings you right back to when you first met them in 2004. However, the animation may have gotten a bit better, so the visually you are taken right in for an awesome adventure.
And, not a spoiler, Jack Jack steals the movie. His powers are shadowed by his giggles. Total scene stealer.
Who’s Ready for Incredibles 3?
Please, Pixar – bring on Incredibles 3. And maybe in less than 14 years.
