OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL Red Carpet Invite

When I received an email with the subject line that read, “Disney Invites You to Los Angeles! 2/13-2/15″ my heart started to race…could it be?  I opened the email and squealed with excitement as I read the words – we are inviting you along with 24 other Bloggers to Los Angeles from Wednesday, February 13th – Friday, February 15th to attend the red carpet premiere of OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL (opening in theatres on 3/8) and interview the cast including James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, Zach Braff, Joey King and Director Sam Raimi. While in town you will also attend a press day at Walt Disney Animation Studios for the In-Home release of WRECK-IT RALPH (available 3/5)!

I read it 4 times, then checking the name and it did read To: Trippin’ with Tara (ok, that’s me) and then continued reading the tentative itinerary -

Wednesday, February 13th: Arrive into Los Angeles  and check-in at the gorgeous Langham Huntington Hotel located in beautiful Pasadena. That evening you will be walking the red carpet at the OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL premiere!

Thursday, February 14th: Travel to the Walt Disney Animation Studios for a press day where you will speak with animators about the In-Home release of WRECK-IT RALPH. Following the press day and other surprises you will head back to the Langham Huntington Hotel for an OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL reception.

Friday, February 15th: Interview the cast and Director of OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL before you depart for home!

I grew up loving the Wizard of Oz.  I love Wicked.  This movie looks like total eye candy and I am looking forward to sharing this amazing opportunity with all of you.  Make sure to follow along on twitter #DisneyOzEvent for all the fun on 2/13 – 2/15.  If you can think of anything you want me to ask any of the actors and/or director, please leave them in the comments below!
