I have been pretty vocal in the discussion of light bladder leakage (LBT). There are so many women that deal with this but don’t want to talk about it. I mean, pee happens right? And it’s not fun, especially when it happens from laughing too hard, or during exercise. Or the worst, when you have a cold and start to cough. Sometimes crossing my legs just don’t work.
Pee Happens
With the season beginning to change, I am already preparing for allergies causing me to sneeze and cough throughout the day by adding them to the cart while shopping at Walmart last week.
In the beginning, I’ll admit it; I used feminine pads. It seemed less embarrassing to buy those than something for LBT, I mean, what would the person checking me out think? Like they really care. When I tried the Poise MicroLiners, I was happy to see they are very discreet, especially compared to a typical feminine pad. I don’t feel like I am wearing a diaper. If I cough, it protects my underwear and clothes. Look, this isn’t fun to talk about, but it’s life, and as much as it sucks, it’s better to do it right than to pretend it’s not happening and be uncomfortable, or embarrassed.
I shared this video last time I talked about my LBL, being active and staying protected is important to me. And I am sure those I am active with are grateful that I protect myself, for urine smells, and wet panties is unpleasant. Is protecting yourself from leakage really an option?
