With over 450 restaurants in 32 states, it’s probably safe to assume you’ve heard of CiCis Pizza. Known for their inexpensive yet tasty pizza buffet, CiCis pizza is a favorite of families and large groups, for an affordable dinner experience. With an array of pizzas, including made to order flat breads, as well as chicken wings, pasta bar, salad bar and desserts. The price is right for a dinner that makes everyone happy.
Cicis ig going through a rebranding. With a fresh new look and some new menu items to come.
CiCis Pizza Rebrands
“We’ve been going through the process of brand revitalization, and this is just one of the stages of that process where we start to work on our menu and our facilities,” Harris told Nation’s Restaurant News. “The logo is one of the next steps in modernizing our facilities. We want to push this through the rest of our brand over time.”
The branding appears on all digital assets, including a redesigned website, and will be rolled out to signage and paper goods, said Sarah McAloon, Cicis chief marketing officer. In addition to the new brand identity, the website features a responsive design to better accommodate mobile users.
“Customers and franchisees wanted us to be more contemporary with our brand, and for us to be more innovative with our food,” McAloon said. “We’re not just a pizza place. We go way beyond that in terms of food categories, with salad, pasta and desserts. And the experience is way beyond a regular pizza experience.”
CiCis offers gaming areas for children of all ages, and they are all being upgraded becoming better incorporated into unit designs, making the game room as part of the experience. Each location offers different games, however, CiCis prides upon having an area designated to have a little fun.
With all the items available on the buffet, McAloon said new units being built will include more of a scatter-bar approach, rather than a single buffet line. “We want to evolve from the one-line buffet to a series of stations,” she said. The designs call for separate areas for pastas, salads and desserts in their own modules or stations. Franchised units coming up for renewal will also start incorporating the new brand identity. “We have a significant number of our stores coming up for renewal over the next few years,” Harris said. “We’d like to see this transition in the next three to five years.”
I found that the flatbread was really good, and the buffet offers so many options for sides that it was easy to understand why CiCis has done so well for 30 years now. And guys, the desserts are to die for!
If you didn’t know that CiCis has a to go option, you have been missing out! It’s hard to beat $5.99 each for 2 one topping pizzas.
And as I mentioned, I tried the flatbread during my last visit to Cicis in Orlando on International Drive. The veggies were fresh, the crust was the perfect thinness and crispy, I really enjoyed it!
When was the last time you tried Cicis Pizza? If you haven’t in a while, or – gasp, never have, now is the time to give them a try.
* I was treated to some pizza during a meeting with CiCis Pizza and asked to give a review and share what’s new with the rebranding. All opinions are my own.
