It’s been a very trying week for me. The girls were in a car accident a week ago, and needless to say, the stress of their well being, the trauma of the accident, and just trying to get back to normal, it’s been tough for all of us. They are ok overall for which I am so very grateful. With the craziness of all that has happened, I was very excited but hesitant to announce that I am heading back to LA this weekend to cover the premiere of Cinderella. I wasn’t too sure if I would go, it all depended on how they were feeling and thankfully, they are both much better and back to normal. So now I can finally share what is in store for me in the upcoming days. I think you will join me in the excitement.
Heading to the Premiere of Cinderella
Bright and early tomorrow I will be leaving on the early flight and heading back to Hollywood. The itinerary is actually light time, for usually I am insane the whole time I am in LA for these types of press trips, so it will be nice to not feel rushed and truly enjoy this experience as myself and 24 other bloggers are treated to the glitz and glamor of getting ready to go to the premiere of Cinderella.
Here’s a look at what we will be doing. It’s going to be absolutely fantastic.
First, JCPenney has partnered with Cinderella and this has us attending their “Glam Ball”. There will be a High Tea lunch served during the event consisting of finger foods, light bites, tea, lemonade, and of course champagne. We will be having our hair and make-up done and then we will be meeting with a stylist that will accessorize our look for the red carpet. I love being pampered, and how fun to get to do this with so many of my friends.
After getting spoiled I will finish getting ready and then head down to the El Capitan Theatre where we will be attending a pre-reception, hosted by JCPenney, in the lower lounge of the theatre. While there, we will also take a look at the costumes and props from the film.
Then comes the fun of the red carpet where we get to join the stars and special guests as the paparazzi’s flashes go off and the excitement of fans cheering on the stars fills the air. When we get to the end of the carpet there will be a Cinderella “Royal Ball” Premiere party. We will have a bit of time to hang with the who’s who of the red carpet and start celebrating the night before attending the premiere screening which will also include the short Frozen Fever.
When the clock strikes midnight I should be back to rest for the following day is full of interviews with the people of Cinderella, Lily James (“Cinderella”), Richard Madden (“Prince”), Cate Blanchett (“Lady Tremaine”), Director Kenneth Branagh and Costume Designer Sandy Powell and also the Directors from Frozen Fever, Chris Buck & Jennifer Lee.
So there you have it! Loads of fun ahead! So make sure to follow along via all my social media platforms using #CinderellaEvent, #FrozenFever and #JCPCinderellaMoment.
