Mary Poppins Returns Event

It’s been a while. This year was a huge transition for me. I took some needed travel time off. So, when Disney invited me for their Mary Poppins Returns, I couldn’t turn it down. I’ve missed my west coast home. I’ve missed my blogging friends, and most of all, guys, it’s Mary freaking Poppins! Oh, and a little bit of 25 days of Christmas in there with Free Form too. So as  I head off tomorrow, my social media feeds will once again be full of Hollywood craziness. Here’s a look at what’s to come.

Wednesday, November 28th

To kick off the Mary Poppins Returns Event we will be screening the film at the official “Academy” theatre.   After the screening, we will have an opportunity to chat with the cast and filmmakers.

Thursday, November 29

We will be starting early for the press junket today, so continue following #MaryPoppinsReturnsEvent on social media for interview quotes.

We will be chatting with Ben Whishaw (“Michael Banks”) & Emily Mortimer (“Jane Banks”), Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Jack”), Director Rob Marshall, Emily Blunt (“Mary Poppins”), Songwriters Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman,and Pixie Davies (“Anabel Banks”) & Joel Dawson (“Georgie Banks”).

We will then get ready to attend the red carpet premiere of MARY POPPINS RETURNS at THE Dolby Theatre,  followed by the premiere party, where rubbing elbows with the who’s who in Hollywood always is a blast. 

Friday, November 30

Today we “switch hats” and it is all about ABC. We will be hanging at the ABC building.

While enjoying breakfast, we will be watching an exclusive preview screening of Disney Channel’s holiday-themed episode of “Coop and Cami Ask the World,” entitled, “Would you Wrather Get a Moose Angry”. The screening will be followed by Q&A and photo opportunities with Disney Channel talent Dakota Lotus, Ruby Rose Turner, Albert Tsai and Paxton Booth (all from “Coop and Cami Ask the World”).

And finally, we’ll cap off the morning with some interactive holiday fun and the opportunity to celebrate 25 Days of Christmas by joining Disney|ABC Television in our goal to donate #25TonsofToys to Toys for Tots. 

 This holiday season, Disney|ABC Television are teaming up with Disney store, ShopDisney.com and Toys for Tots. Fans and families can celebrate 25 Days of Christmas by dropping off a new, unwrapped toy at a U.S. Disney store or on shopDisney.com until December 15th and Disney store will contribute $5 per toy to Toys for Tots, up to $1 Million! Post a selfie with your toy on social media using the hashtag #25TonsOfToys.
