Let’s face it, sometimes the thought of going out on a date can be stressful. Especially when the day to day expenses don’t always leave much money left over to take that special someone out. That is why when I heard about Applebee’s 2 for $20 menu, I realized Date Night on a Budget was possible after all. Even for those of us, that love steak! Date night can be affordable and delicious. With over 2000 locations, chances are you have one in your area.
Date Night on a Budget
What kind of food options can you get from the 2 for $20 menu? If you have been to Applebee’s before, you are probably familiar with their all-American menu. So what can you get for $20?
First, you can start with an appetizer to share or two side salads. So what are those apps you ask? Well, you can get the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Crunchy Onion Rings, Boneless Wings or Mozzarella Sticks. We opted for the Boneless Wings for our date.
Then for the entrees, the selection seems to be the most popular menu items. The choices include the Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken, The American Standard Burger, Chicken Tenders, Thai Shrimp Salad, the Fiesta Lime Chicken, and now the 6-ounce USDA Select Top Sirloin steak.
The entrees include a choice of two sides, and seriously, look at all this food for $20. And for $5 more there are a few additional options like the Chicken WonTon Stir Fry.
