Muppets, Captain America, Bears, ABC and Me

Can you believe it’s already this far into 2014?  Yeah, me either.  I think it hit me when I got an invite from Disney to do a press event out in Los Angeles from March 9 – 13th.  I thought, “that’s a bit from now” – um, not really.  However, I am so excited that I’m overflowing with the anticipation of this trip, covering not one or two or even three events…just wait, there’s so much!

So here’s the outline of the trip that’s planned.

Muppets, Captain America, Bears, ABC and Me

Sunday, March 9th – Wednesday, March 12th

I will be attending the red carpet premiere of MUPPETS MOST WANTED (opening in theatres on 3/21) and interview Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and additional cast and filmmakers from the movie!

Also while I’m in town I will also screen Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER (opening in theatres on 4/4) and interview some of the cast and filmmakers at the press junket!

Plus, I will screen THE PIRATE FAIRY (available 4/1) AND visit the Bears exhibit at the LA Zoo after screening Disneynature’s BEARS (opening in theatres on 4/18) on the Walt Disney Studios lot!

Ok, so that sounds pretty packed full of awesomeness right?  But oh no, there’s more!  (I totally wrote that in my best game show host voice.)  So apparently ABC Television heard about the Disney & Marvel event happening and extended my trip in LA for an extra night.  So an extra day in LaLa land to do all this –

I will have the opportunity to visit the Los Angeles studio where GREY’S ANATOMY and GENERAL HOSPITAL both tape, where I will have the chance to meet & greet with select cast members, get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of production, and more!

Jessica Capshaw (“Dr. Arizona Robbins”) is looking forward to being your host for your tour of the GREY’S set.

Following the set visits will be a cocktail hour with the Moms of ABC – both real-life and TV moms (and maybe some dads too!) from our most popular shows and new shows.

That evening, ABC is treating us to two special screenings at ABC headquarters, each introduced and hosted by the respective executive producers:

Resurection’s second episode and the two part wedding episode of Trophy Wife .

On Thursday morning, we will be visiting the set of THE MIDDLE, host a Q&A with the creators and executive producers, Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline, screen an upcoming episode and also meet & greet with available cast members.

Before I leave on Thursday afternoon, we’ll screen an upcoming special “junior” episode of SHARK TANK, featuring kid entrepreneurs pitching their ideas to the Sharks.

Yes, this is an extremely full schedule with so much coolness packed into 4 days that I am thrilled to share it all with you.  Make sure to follow along on all my social media outlets and connect with the ones I’ve listed below!
