Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort @VisitPhoenix @PointeHiltons #BloggersGo

Thank you to the Phoenix CVB and Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort Phoenix for making it possible for me to share this experience with you. All opinions are my own.

Pointe Hilton Phoenix

I love it out west and I especially have a love for Phoenix and the state of Arizona as a whole.  When I saw the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort on our itinerary I got excited.  The resort is built right into the bluffs and is unique to the size of the resort.  It’s spread out over 400 scenic acres, with 584 guest rooms, and three and a half acres dedicated to the pool area.  This is a great way to vacation.

Porte-Cochere

Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is a Spanish-Mediterranean-designed, all-suite mountainside resort located in the granite bluffs of the Phoenix Mountain Reserve. Because Phoenix has the advantage of more than 300 days of sunshine per year, guests are able to enjoy the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort’s acres of refreshing pools and championship golf year round. The resort is rich with Phoenix history and known for its dramatic mountainside setting, dedicated staff and community involvement. With award-winning golf, acres of swimming pools, extensive conference space and a variety of restaurants, the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort offers the perfect location for business or rest and relaxation. www.pointehiltontapatiocliffs.com

Standard Suite Bedroom

I stayed in a standard room like this.  The beds are super comfortable.  The room is spacious and has a sitting area with a pull out couch.  Here are some of the amenities that are listed for all of their suites.

  • Wired and wireless Internet access
  • Separate living area
  • Video check-out
  • Hilton Serenity Bed & Bath collection
  • Fully-stocked, refrigerated mini-bar
  • Dual line telephones with data-ports
  • Two TVs with expanded cable selections
  • Peter Thomas Roth bath amenities
  • Voice messaging
  • Individually controlled air and heat
  • Hair Dryer
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Hilton Alarm Clock Radio
  • Coffee maker

The Hilton Serenity Bed & Bath collection is delightful!

My favorite part of this resort, well after The Pointe of View Restaurant (which I will be sharing in a post on it’s own), is the amazing pool area.  The girls and I were lucky to be treated to a cabana by the pool and it’s such a treat to have the option of sitting in the sun or under a fan in the shade.  There’s a fridge with bottled water, and then of course you have the option of ordering drinks from the bar, and even lunch or a snack off the menu.

Raspberry Iced Tea

This was so refreshing.  I was positive that it wasn’t an adult drink.  I was wrong.

Pool at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliff Resort

The pool area is simply spectacular.  The sounds of the waterfalls and the view of the desert rocks makes sitting by the pool extra relaxing.  If you look closely, there’s a water slide down the rock into the pool, which kept a small group of kids entertained for hours.

If you prefer a more quiet setting the resort offers several other pools throughout the property with the same rocky view, but no waterfalls, but truly quiet.

Views at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliff Resort

Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is making learning fun for guests with local attractions during this summer’s “Edu-tainment” program. The program will combine visits from the Musical Instrument Museum, which I believe you had the pleasure of visiting, Arizona Museum of Youth, Arizona Science Center and Wildlife World Zoo and enjoyable activities for a summer of fun and education.

“Edu-tainment” will take place from May 28 to September 7 with visits from different partners and themed dive-in movies. The line-up includes:

May 28 – Sept. 7: The Falls Water Village will transform into a zoo with the visit from the Wildlife World Zoo who will bring furry friends and creepy crawlies.

June 22: The Musical Instrument will bring music and crafts for a sing-song event that includes the musical dive-in movie of the night, “The Muppets.”

July 20: The Arizona Museum for Youth will visit with artistic crafts for mini-Picassos and an artwalk displaying their masterpieces for both kids and adults. The day’s activities will lead up to the dive-in movie, “Bedtime Story.”

Aug. 2: The Arizona Science Center will bring a mad scientist’s lab to the lobby with experiment, brain teasers and more before the dive-in movie, “Innerspace.”

Looks like a beautiful hotel as well.
My son was born in Arizona and we stayed in Phoenix until the paperwork was completed so I have a huge spot in my heart for that place!

  2. Hello would you mind stating which blog platform
you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a
tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and
Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style
seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
