Hello Everyone! Sharing food is the most universal cultural experience, which connects us to each other, nature, and to the nourishment of our souls. Since it’s the start of the week, let’s break bread the sweet way-the banana chocolate chip way! It’s easy to make, is great toasted with spreads, and of course it’s great cooled off as well.

Ingredients

  • For the dry ingredients you will need:
  • 1 1/2 cups flour (I used gluten free wheat flour)
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • A big pinch of flax seed
  • Chocolate chips to your liking
  • For the wet ingredients:
  • 4 ripe bananas, nicer on the soft side
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (or coconut oil)
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Start with 2 bowls, because for those that bake, you already know, mix the dry ingredients in one, the wet in another, and then combine.
  3. After both are combined, put in greased mini loaf pans, or one regular size loaf pan.
  4. Bake at for 20-30 minutes.

This is a vegan recipe, which typically scares all the kids, and even adults out of taking a taste. I can assure you, you need not fear;)
There are many elements to eating, and for myself, I now choose a non harming approach.
For now, let’s stick to the benefit of deliciousness!

Share with me some of your favorite foods.
And I’ll pick a few to see if I have a recipe, or can create one, for a vegan alternative.
Let’s give it a try? What’s to lose…except making some animals happy!

Have a great week!

    • These PR skills are so important, especially for soon-to-be graduates because these skills are what employers are looking for the new PR practitioners. I like that you also list statistics and measurements on the list because if PR professionals could use output measurements to support their writing, it would increase credibility. Thanks for sharing these tips!

    • The last time the global temperature was 2C hotter than it is now most of the space between the Mississippi and the Rockies was an enormous desert, yes desert, complete with giant golden sand-dunes.When this happens the region is not going to be inhabited by Americans, Mexicans or anyone else unless they want the lifestyle of Bedouin Arabs.Perhaps the Mexicans could then convert to Islam and attack the dying US Empire. How's that scenario for all you Fall of Rome freaks?

    • I love being the map reader but like you, it seems over-whelming when the map is so huge. I always fold it down to a lap size section to follow. I think the Bible is like that for me too. Oh where to start, what to read. And so I just pick snippets here & there that I can slowly follow & digest as I go!

  1. I LOVE banana bread, thanks for sharing! Yours looks really delish.

For my vote on vegan recipes to feature, I love finding recipes for veggies/twists on simple ingredients. One thing that I find while searching for vegan recipes is that they can sometimes be elaborate and require a lot of ingredients I don’t have, because they’re replicating something specific (Like Vegan McDonald’s burgers, or whatever). And they all look super tasty!! But I’d also love to find more for just plain old veggies or simple/frugal ingredients that we all have hanging around.

    • I agree. I think we can make everything vegan, and without all the fuss. I’ll keep that in mind for future recipes to share too. Thank you.

    • Hi Nandita,Although I have enable dofollow in my blog comment section, but the whole comment system in blogger blogs does not look that much catchy. Can you please suggest some good comment box wordpress for blogger blgaa?ThsnksSantonu recently posted..

  2. This recipe is awesome! Sometimes I have extra bananas because for whatever reason, no one in my family really eats them, so it’s nice to have this go-to recipe for when I need to use some up.

  3. we love doing different banana breads. and since we have some friends who can’t have any eggs or dairy…often times, vegan is the way to go for recipes with them 🙂

  4. I must show some appreciation to this writer just for bailing me out of this particular instance. After looking out through the the web and seeing ways which are not beneficial, I figured my entire life was well over. Being alive minus the strategies to the difficulties you’ve sorted out by way of this guideline is a critical case, and ones which might have negatively damaged my entire career if I had not encountered the blog. The understanding and kindness in playing with every part was invaluable. I’m not sure what I would’ve done if I had not discovered such a subject like this. It’s possible to at this time look ahead to my future. Thanks for your time very much for your impressive and amazing guide. I won’t hesitate to recommend your blog post to any person who desires tips about this topic.
