By now all of my followers know I cover a lot of Disney events. It often takes me to LA chatting with some of the biggest people in the movie industry. No matter how many trips I have the opportunity to participate in, they are always different and full of great things to share with my readers. This event is a bit different being that it’s taking place in one of my favorite cities, San Francisco, the home of Pixar, and I’ll be covering their new film Inside Out.
Pixar Inside Out: San Francisco Event
Here’s a look at what is in store for myself and 24 other bloggers on this incredible event.
Starting on Monday, April 30th we will kick off the event by going to Pixar for a screening of the new short Lava that will be introduced by Director James Murphy & Producer Andrea Warren followed by footage from Inside Out which will be introduced by Director Pete Docter & Producer Jonas Rivera.
After a good night of sleep, we will wake up on Tuesday morning and head back to Pixar for
breakfast and then take part in filmmaker presentations that will include time with Co-Director Ronnie del Carmen & Story Supervisor Josh Cooley, Production Designer Ralph Eggleston, Director of Photography Patrick Lin, a session with Supervising Animators Shawn Krause & Victor Navone, Lighting Artist Angelique Reisch and Director Pete Docter & Producer Jonas Rivera
After a tour and time at Pixar we will head out to screen Disneynature’s new film Monkey Kingdom followed by a Q&A with Disneynature Marketing Lead Paul Baribault and Consultant Kristina Reed.
Before we all head back home we have the special opportunity to visit the Walt Disney Family Museum, a place I have always wanted to go, and haven’t ever had the opportunity.
The Walt Disney Family Museum is an American museum that features the life and legacy of Walt Disney. The museum is located in The Presidio of San Francisco, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in San Francisco.
