Disneyland Halloween at California Adventure Park

After checking out the Halloween celebration at Mickey’s Not So Scary at Disney’s Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago, visiting Disneyland Halloween at California Adventure Park was a treat. To celebrate the in-home release of Cars 3 during the #ThorRagnarokEvent, I joined my blogger friends for a fun night full of ghoulish delights in Cars Land and on Buena Vista Street.

Hanging out at Cars Land, it was a lot of fun to see the costumes and decorations of Radiator Springs for their “Haul-O-Ween.” Check out the creativity of using construction cones, tires and fun play on words throughout that area of the park.

Some of my favorite Cars Land attractions now look the part just for this celebration. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree is now Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween. I think my favorite part was making memories with some of my favorite blogger friends.

New this year for Mickey’s Halloween Party guests, Disney California Adventure park will be featured for the first time as part of the pre-party mix-in. Early arrivals will be able to visit both theme parks for three hours prior to the party launch in Disneyland park. Also new this year, admission to Mickey’s Halloween Party will include complimentary Disney PhotoPass downloads.

Mickey’s Halloween party features special entertainment, including Disney characters – Disney villains as well as Mickey Mouse and friends — and the Cadaver Dans ghostly quartet performing on the Rivers of America. An extra special treat is the “Halloween Screams” fireworks spectacular, a Mickey’s Halloween Party tradition presented exclusively for party guests. Also exclusive to Mickey’s Halloween Party is the “Frightfully Fun Parade,” led by The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow (from the Disney animated classic “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad”).

I can not think of a better way to celebrate the digital release of Cars 3 than time with friends sprinkled with lots of Disney magic. With all that Halloween fun, don’t forget to take time to ride some of those favorite rides!

Cars 3 now on digital.

In honor of world-champion racer #95 on his date-sake 9/5, Disney•Pixar is proud to announce the in-home arrival of Disney•Pixar’s “Cars 3”! “Cars 3” surged to the front of the pack opening weekend with audiences racing to see the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and spirited trainer Cruz Ramirez (voice of Cristela Alonzo) team up to beat the new generation of blazing-fast racers.
